Jamie was born and raised in Philadelphia. In 1997 she relocated to Bucks County, where she currently lives with her husband and 3 children.

Jamie's background and education is in Graphic design and web Design. She is currently working towards her fine arts degree.

Jamie's first love was drawing. She has spent the better part of her life with a pencil and sketch pad in hand. As a young adult Jamie discovered her love of photography. In 2001 she began creating digital collages and surreal art Photography. In 2005 Jamie transferred to Bucks County Community College to study web design. Jamie enjoys creating web sites for other artists and feels that being an artist herself gives her the ability to understand the importance of a creative web appearance.

Jamie enjoys exposing the beauty of things that are aged and sometimes dark. Her photography and collage work allow her to express herself and to experiment with fantasy and the surreal. She loves using texture effects to create an aged and worn look.

When creating with wool, Jamie uses materials that originate in nature, because it is nature that often inspires in her art. Jamie enjoys using organic materials, which she feels brings a certain sincerity and integrity to her work. Using Wool, Jamie creates soft sculpture pieces and wearable felted art such as handbags, scarves and jewelry.
